Hello knitter! I'm stopping by to leave you the Tutorial of this divine Cup Holder ✨ .
It is a project with a delicate style for the tea or coffee moments of the day ☕ and to captivate the eyes of those who accompany us 😍.
With this entertaining tutorial you will spend the afternoon enjoying knitting accompanied by your favorite series.
It is a project that is finished in the day because each one takes more or less between 30 minutes and 45 minutes to do.
You are going to need a ball of the yarn that you like the most, with 80gr-100gr it is enough and in my case I used a crochet needle No. 4.5mm, remember to check the label of your yarn where they recommend the crochet sizes and to make a sample to Be sure that you like how the stitch looks with the thread and needle you are going to use, sometimes we like how it looks better with another needle number that is not recommended on the label.
And now we are ready to start! Should we crochet it together?
We start by making a magic ring
Row 1: We knit 6 sc inside the ring (you can put a stitch marker at the last stitch to know when each row ends without getting lost)
H2: We make 1 increase in each stitch of the previous row (we have 12 stitches left)
H3: We knit 1 half stitch, 1 increase and repeat the sequence until the end of the row (18p)
H4: *2 sc, 1 inc and repeat from * to the end of the row (24p)
H5: *3 sc, 1 inc and repeat from * to the end of the row (30p)
H6: *4 sc, 1 inc and repeat from * to the end of the row (36p)
H7: *5 sc, 1 inc and repeat from * to the end of the row (42p)
H8: *6 sc, 1 inc and repeat from * to the end of the row (48p) and now make 1 last stitch in the next stitch to level the rows.
H9: *2 sc, 6 double crochets that close together, I repeat from * to the end of the row and I do the last group where I made the last stitch in the previous row, after making the last group I make 1 sl st in the next stitch .
H10: 2 sc (the next sc has to be stuck in the first group of double crochets that you made in the previous row), 9 chains (4 are uphill to represent the first double crochet of the row, 2 chains are space and the 3 chains that remain are for the peak), 1 sl st in the 3rd chain counting from the last chain that I knit, 2 chains, 1 double crochet without closing by clicking in the same group from which I made the initial chains, I make another double crochet pricked in the next group and I close everything together (for your reference I will have 3 stitches on the needle before closing everything together), *2 chains, 1 peak, 2 chains, 2 double crochets that close together, I repeat from * to the end of the row.
To close the row, having a double crochet without closing on the needle, I make a sl st in the fourth starting chain that I made counting from the bottom up.
I close and hide the threads. And you have finished your cup holder! Now we make 5 more to complete the game and we are ready to invite our friends to have a coffee at home and use our cup holders for the first time!
I hope you enjoyed knitting this design as much as I did. Here I leave you the Video Tutorial on YouTube so you can see better how it is done.
